if your sick of oil spots vacume pump fix, seal part number
heres a lil help for those leaking vacume pump seals, you sick of the extra oil under the truck, everyone thinks its the catch can but if its alot of oil, alot of times it a combination of both,if you clean the thing at the car wash clean good where the power steering pump bolts to the vacume pump, look in a few days and see if its wet between them where the cut out is,if it is replace the seal, all you need is a seal driver or a socket, pull the adapter off and youll see a alluiminuim spacer in it(youll also have a loose pump drive in it,drive the alluimnuim piece out ,make sure you keep the loose piece the way it is when you take it out,now drive the seal outinstead of replacing with the exact seal buy 2 cr seals part number c/r 11060put the 2 seals in instead of the one and you are back in buisness starting to collect alot of these so im going to do the work with exchanges for the guys that cant get the seals or dont car to do the work,i can get the seals for yous if you can get them,if your near pa and want it done we can arrange that too, hope this helps yous out,its a cheap fix unlike the fix the dealer has( spend 1000 dollars for a new pump) good luck guys just trying to help get the lil issues fixed

the o ring never really goes bad, the seals are what leak and the seals are less than 10.00 dollars beats paying 50.00 i would of put in tech facts but it seems that all the new people on here go here to find out why they have leaking oil in the front, maybe the administrator will send this thread there but its just a lil help for cheap,we all know we need to save money places on these trucks cause you are goig to spend lots in others, hope this is a help
