IAT Cleaning
Hi Guys, just about to clean the IAT sensor on my 24v, are there any problems or special techniques I should know about. I am a bit of a newbie and also if I get it wrong and damage the sensor I will have to wait some time for a new one due to my location.
Any help would be great

Thanks, the information is great should make life better, although from the look of the sensor location it wont be very comfortable, I think lying on the cylinder head is the way to go!!!
Thanks

Just be careful of the angle of the socket when removing it... You are right in it being a bit tricky to get to, I did it from the side trying to get under this and over that...managed to bust the plastic connection deally on the sensor. Super glue held it together while waiting for the replacement to show up... $30 from the dealer and had to use the Cummins part number to order it.

Thanks Dave, I tryed to take the sensor out over the weekend but couldn't get my hands in to take of the power cap, you would think with such a big engine bay that removing things would be relatively easy, but hey things don't always go to plan. I might just take it to a truck garage it might be cheaper than me breakin one.
Thanks for te help guys.
