I thought silencer ring was easy?

I haven't been able to get the outer(gray) ring to budge. I've used several different small and large screwdrivers. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help. Chris

I is just like a snap ring holding the locking hubs into the bearing hub on old front ends. On the endof the ring ther is a small indention where you put a small screwdriver in and turn and pull it up then take another small screwdriver under the ring and pry it out. Kind difficult the first couple times till you really get a feel for it

I got it, the problem was the indention was at the top and it was hard to see to get the other screwdriver in. Thanks
