I.O.D fuse

I.O.D fuse

My i.o.d fuse is draining my batteries but i can't figure out why. was woundering if anybody has had a simalar problem?

Ignition Off Draw.

Everything that is still powered with the ignition off goes through this fuse.
Radio (memory for presets), power locks and power seats (I think) are some examples.

As answered in the double post, more than likely it is a short in the IOD circuit,
or something in that circuit drawing more power than it's supposed to.

Ahh. That should narrow it then. Get a multimeter and do a current draw, then unpug your radio, door harness, possible alarm problem. Your truck off should draw maybe .1 amps. thats actually a lot buy todays standards too. I chime in tommorow with some info. JB on ice has got me.
