I need a LS posi. 2nd Gen

Live up in Alaska and need a LS posi. Currently truck does't have one and I'm not getting enough traction to go. If any of you guys and gals took one out to replace with a locker, I'll buy it for a descent price even if it needs rebuilt.
Dana 70 3:55 gearing.

Sure you don't have a LSD?? Very unusual to see an 02, 4x4 without. Especially in your state....no?
Many have assumed they did not have a Limited Slip, only to discover it wasn't working right!

Agree, run your vin past the dealer for built with parts. My 02 has a LS and it scrubs the tires around a tight corner, yes it's just a LS, no locker.

Not sure if you want a full locker in the snow but a Detroit locker is an easy and low cost ($300.00) option if you have an open Dana 70 or 80.
You probably do have a limited slip.
The Dana 70 will have a Powerloc and the Dana 80 will have a tracloc.
Both are rebuildable.
The Powerloc is the stronger and better of the 2 ls units.
Both can be shimmed tighter to give better traction.

Ran the Vin past the dealer and open rearend. I don't want a Detroit locker up here the roads are bad and I've seen Lockers push trucks off the road. I'll take the limited slip. I'm looking for the Powerloc
