Hurt my 01 Engine?

Tensioner assy will come with a new idler and bearing. While you have it apart ( belt off ) make sure you don't have slop in the water pump and fan support. I know you just replaced the WP, but it is a free thing to give it a wiggle just to be sure. If your fan support brg. is bad, you can replace it without replacing the whole unit.

BTW, make sure you get the best tensioner assy you can find, even the good ones have had some spotty quality.

This is one reason why I purchased an Edge Juice W/Attitude. I have it set for an audio alarm when the engine coolant temp hits 210 degrees. I believe the Edge Insight does this also. It's very easy to not notice the engine temps until they are very hot. The audio alarms make for a more enjoyable ride since you don't have to watch the guages all the time.

What brand do you recommend? O'reilley has Gates. It is American made. Think it is good?

Gates is as good as it gets, short of Cummins. I can say this, all our old line Mfgs. are not what they once were. Look your part over carefully and you should be good.
