How do I clear Error Messages

I posted here a while back that my 2001 acted like it was occasionally starving for fuel, It acted like it had a bad fuel filter or had a bit of water in the fuel. Many of you suggested replacing the lift pump, I just installed a Raptor and when I first left the drive way it acted as if it was starving as before, I am hoping it was maybe a little air in the new system that has blead out. After a few blocks it cleared up, I have about 10 in town miles on it and it seems ok. If this wasn't the problem, I am open to other suggestions.

Before I take it out again I wanted to clear the 2 error messages to make sure all is ok.....How do you do that???

As always your help is appreciated.
Doug

there may be another way, but if you remove the battery cables and then turn the ingniition to on for 30+ minutes it will drain the capsitors and reset.

I did it to reset the APPS, and it reset everything.
