is it to high of a price
i found an 01 2500 reg cab ctd 4x4 5 spd. it has 113k miles and two small dents. the guy is aking $17,000. is he asking to much and what should i offer. it has some power uprades all so. thanks
2 things for advice that i use:
1st.............. go to www.kbb.com and check out its value
2nd............go to www.autotrader.com and see what otehrs are go'n for
2 min on #1 and about 15 on #2 and you'll have a good idea on the price..........hope this helps

That's not overly high, check it to make sure it doesn't have the dreaded "53" block, left front of the block right above the oil pan you will see a 1" tall #. Find out if it has towed any serious weight, gooseneck ball, etc. If it has, keep looking, the 5-speed is probably ready to pitch 5th-gear out. Probably will need a clutch if it's never had one put in also.

I've looked on auto trader and its about 1 to 2k high but it is only about an hour away and the others are about 2 or 3 states away. i'll check kbb. it doesn't have a gooseneck ball and it has a heavy duty clutch with about 25k on it. haven't yet but i sure will check to see if it has the 53 block. i thought it was a little high. thanks
