Help!!! What is up with this?

Hope someone can give me an answer. Here is the problem: At anywhere from 30 mph to 70 mph I'm getting a 200-300 jump in my rpms and a bucking feeling when this happens, almost like I'm running out of diesel. I had the problem before but then it went away and ran fine. I installed a BD low fuel pressure light. When I did the install and got everything hooked up, the red light would not go off. So to NAPA I went to get another lift pump (Carter). Bam, the red light went out, 0216 code that I had before disappeared. Problem solved! Nope! Ran like a scalded ape for about a week. Then, back to the same old thing. The bucking is back and gets worse each day, and every now and then the red low fuel pressure light will blink fast a couple times, but it never stays on, even at WOT!, and the 0216 code is gone. However, sometimes it doesn't do it and runs fine. Other times its so bad I wanna run it off a cliff. I'm just confused being that the 0216 code went away. I thought IP but I've also heard talk about the APPS going out and causing some of these symptoms. The only code I show now on the 3 turn key trick is P 0122 (TPS voltage low). So what do I do? Is it the IP, the APPS, both, neither? Someone please help. Thanks in advance.

Try resetting the APPS and see if that cures it.

Try re-calibrating your APPS. how to do so can be found on this link

Ok. I tried the reset with no luck. Now I'll try the recalibration for the voltage. Thanks guys.

Could be IP, or bad fuel. Check filter and water separator first....cheap and easy. Do you fill up at the same place every time? Just a thought, I got a bad tank of fuel last fall and was up in the high country when my truck felt like it was missing, all I could think of was how much it would cost to tow it down the mountain if my ip went out. Turned out to be water in fuel. Just a thought. Kurt
