Help
Re:Help
Seems that quite a few oil sending units have bit the dust. If you can check the pressure with another gauge to be safe would be best. There is a TSB out there to fix but all it does is turn your gauge into an idiot light(if you have pressure it reads 40psi if you don't it reads 0). If you can't check the pressure I would get a new oil sending unit and replace the original and see if that takes care of it. Dealer may replace the unit under warranty or they may do the tsb. I would check with them before they did it.
Re:Help
I would have it checked by someone who is real reliable. I took my new Dodge van in for low oil pressure...they said it was a bad sending unit...don't worry about it...50 miles later...KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK...engine siezed up...they tried to blame it on me, but I had it in the shop the very day it croaked!!
Re:Help
Thank you all for your help. I took it to the dealer today and they said they are pretty sure it is the sending unit. They said that the Federal Emission warranty would cover it.

Thanks again this site is awesome,

Ruben
