Just picked up a 99 24 valve.. When you have the AC running and or the heater (not really needed in Florida where I am now) you get a faint whiff of coolant smell.

I think it is a heater core leak, but wouldn't I have a leak in the cab somewhere if this was the case?

I appreciate any input.

I just replaced my heater core in my dodge. It wasn't too bad of a job. My truck was doing the same thing you would get a faint wiff. And that turned into it leaking in the passenger side floor board. So out it came.
