having a miss

ok so about a month ago i started to notice after driving for a while it would have a random miss no pattern to it it only happend in park/neutral at idle after driving fully warmed up if its in drive it doesnt do it no hesitation when driving it runs great but it concerns me its a 99 2500 ctd auto 4x4 it has a power programmer and its on high performance tow the progammer has been in there for about 8 months or so and was wondering what i should start looking at to fix this thanks for all your help

I have the same problem 24v truck misses at idle just off idle is OK, the miss is random not the same cylinder proved by infered temp sensor.

I'd bleed the lines to start and see if there is any difference on each injector. If the injector is bad there will be no difference on the bad one. Then I would start looking at the head gasket.

remove the programmer (is it a box or OBD programmer?) and see if it goes away. i have fixed a few trucks by cleaning the ground leads and even adding a ground lead on an Edge Comp set up from the Comp ground to the left fender where the battery has a small ground attached from the factory.
