Harmonic balancer off a 12 valve

I have a friend who has a bad harmonic balancer on his 2000 CTD. I have one off a 1994 Cummings 12 valve & was wondering if it will work on his truck. Any body know if this will work?

Pretty sure you will be fine, the only difference that I am aware of is the 94 will have the 2 notches for the ESS sensor and the 2000 will not.

That's what I was guessing, too, but no experience to know what the differences might be. A different part number doesn't tell me it won't work.
