It happens most noticeably when in 5th gear at around 40 mph, but I have clearly heard it in other gears. It seems to be when the engine is under load and the rpms are a little too low. I think it happens more than I hear it but most of the time the engine is making too much noise for me to hear it. I hope it is not the engine or transmission. Any ideas what to check?
