At my expense....

A customer came to my shop with his 01 dodge. He started to tell me had seen the death code and installed a glacier fuel system on his own. He was so proud that the truck lasted another six months, the only problem being dead pettle in the morning and at highway speed.

Without testing to much I find him a nice Hot Rod pump and a nice set of injectors from a member here at a great price.

I squeeze his truck in and do the swap throught the night to get his truck back to him for work. All said and done it runs like crap. White smoke stalls. I beat myself up and pull the front cover. I inspect every aspec of the install. I swap the shaft keys ( I used the old pump key ). Put it all back together and run out the door to help my wife with the baby.

NOW THE FUN PART- While I am at home my assistant bleeds the system to see whats up (fresh brain). He calls me at home to tell me he had just finished pumping 25 gallons of GASOLINE from this guys tank.

TRUCK RUNS GREAT!!!!!!

 

He should have "installed" some diesel in the tank too! That's funny!
