Hey guys im lookingat a g56 out of a 2006 2500 i was woundering what type of stuff i would have to do to make it work in my 1999 auto, i know i would have to get new driveshafts and makethe pedal and clutch components work....im more concerned about having issues with the computer

 

did you do the swap

That sounds like a fun project. Did ya do it? Anyone else done it?

 

I swapped mine about 25k ago. Other than crossmember and driveshaft mods it was pretty much a normal R&R.

 

im interested in doing the same thing could somebody inform me on what all is needed to do the swap i have an 01 2500 ext cab 4x4 short bed
