fuel work=codes?

i did some fuel line work today, installed new banjos, took off my fuel filter changed it and added stuff to hook up my FP gage tomorrow, after putting it together i bumped the starter and ran the pum thru its cycle three times, made sure there was fuel in the filter and tried to start it, it was hard starting, i ran the pump a couple more times and it started up. after that i checked the codes and it threw two faults, injection pump timing and some other fuel code, i erased them and have had no problems since, i put about 80 miles on tonight. is this normal? did i hurt something? hope not. i will check again tomorrow for codes, but just want someone elses opinion. THANKS

I've heard that clogged filters and such can throw a pump code, so I guess changing the filter would sort of be a similar condition. I hope you are that lucky and your pump isn't dying.
