Fuel sensor - cant pull old wires

Fuel sensor - cant pull old wires
I'm replacing the fuel sensor/float on my '01 Ram.
I have the assembly out of the tank, but I can not figure out how to remove the two fuel sensor wires from the connector. The connector disconnect from the inner top of the sensor/pickup assembly. But I can not see how to get the old wires out of the connector.
The new sensor has the two wires that should snap in to the connector.
Googled and youtubed and found how to get the assembly out of the tank, but nothing on how to get the old wires out and new wires in...

If its the same as with the 98 there is a small locking tab in the centre of the connector. You will need to push this back a little with a needle to unlock the connector.
(This is on the spade connectors inside the tank of a 98)

Thanks for the reply!
I got it swapped over, and everything installed; works properly now.
I suspect they must make a pin pusher for these; I work with a number of computer type connectors and build cables frequently; we have a selection of pin pushers at work so we can pull old wire out of housings.

Might be because I am where I am-
I usually take a good look at the new connector and a pin and pliers let me "create" the tool to unlock the connector just fine.
(I have a set of pin-pushers for some applications but most of the times it is much quicker just to take a look and bend some pin..)
