i am thinking about replacing my stock fuel pump had to buy one from cummings when my truck broke down on the road so i want to upgrade and I am not sure what kind to get (and yes i also had to repace my injection pump ) I did by a low preasure warning light to protect my truck i need some sugestions on what kind to get. my truck is a 1998.5 153,000 miles 2500 2 wheel drive

 

I know fass makes a direct replacement pump thats supose to flow about 33%more for about $250

 

what is the updated torque converter isthis recomended also thaks for the fass info

 

i dont know much about the fass setup, i have the Walbro setup from galcier diesel and i am very pleased with it. i think you will find that everyone will recommend their preferred brand of lp. Also they along with myself will probably recommend that the first thing to do to your truck is to get a set of gauges to monitor your fuel pressure, tranny temp, exhaust gases. do a search for these setups and you will find plenty of info. good luck
