fuel pump question
In Reguards To Aftermarket Lift Pumps Do They Replace Stock Lift Pumps Or Are They Added On To Help The Stock Pump. It Sounds As If There Are Two Different Applications Available But Would Like Some Confirmation. Ive Read A Little About The Glaicer Fuel Pump And Was Wondering If Anyone Out There Has Ever Used One.
You can set it up either way. Guys have had success with both types of setups. We prefer to use the one pump method as it reduces the number of failure points to one.
I would recommend upgrading to a pump that fits your needs into the future as well as today.
I have over 4 years and close to 100K on my replacement lift pump. A 12V lift pump run off the cam lobe. Still makes 45psi at idle and never less than 37psi at WOT.
I am still waiting for it to take out my VP44.
