fuel pump
It depends on what you want to do with your truck....mines stock & I just use the stock Carter pumps(they're cheap) & a low fuel pressure light (I like It because It flickers when my fuel filter is getting plugged) & Ive never had a VP failure yet (touch wood) & ive drove many, many miles.
But If I chipped my truck or had any go fast goodies on my truck I'd definately look into a Fass, Airdog or any other dependable aftermarket pump. But then id need pillar gauges, injectors, an upgraded transmission, torque converter etc, etc & probably a new wife

My truck is stock and I installed a Fass DDRP from Geno's and have had excellant service. The service from Geno's was top notch. My fuel pressure runs about 22 at idle and around 15-16 pulling my camper. Good luck and they are no trouble to change. The manual says to remove the starter but it is pretty easy from the top and you do not need to remove the starter. Good luck.
