fuel psi

is to much fuel psi on a 24v. bad for the Inj pump. im running like 22-23 psi with the FASS. I went through 3 lift pumps before putting the fass on, had the computer scanned and its throwing P0216 out.

The only thing I've read is that high fuel PSI will cause hard starting. If you are starting okay I guess you are good to go.

The 0216 is the IP death code though. That is not a good sign. I'd be looking at a replacement ASAP. Seems like you can run them for a month or so then they die after you get the death code.

Are you getting any symptoms, like dead pedal or surging? Mine threw the P0216 and I drove it for several months without it dying on me. I would only experience problems at highway speeds.

yea i have had a dead pedal on several occasions. but i have problems with the tranny also it sometimes goes into OD at like 15 mph so i hit the go pedal and there is just no power until i pull it into 2nd gear. it has not happened enough for me to figure out which problem is which.

well i wouldnt think so but I just thought it was suspicious that I put my FASS on 4 months ago and now I have that code in there. But if it does I suppose you'll find out the hard way.
