Fuel Pressure Jitters

I just hooked up my nifty new Edge Juice with Attitude monitor. The fuel pressure reads 10 PSI at idle and stays there. When I hit 50% throttle, it drops to 3 PSI. The sensor is is plugged into the test port. I had the LP replaced by the dealer about a year ago. I have a Vulcan big line kit on order and I am wondering if the LP is toast. The truck has 108K on it and runs like a scalded dog but pressure drops to zero when I get on it, so I am babying it until I get things fixed. HELP!!!

Welcome To DTR!
(Extra large letters for a fellow NEBRASKA BIG RED FAN .)

Thank you for your service to our country, unlike a certain Senator KERRY, I deeply appreciate it.

Now for the bad news, your stock LP is toasted. You need to get a FASS II or Walbro pump installed right away. Let me know if you need a place to install it. You can come down to my place and we'll "Get r Dun". I went with the FASS II due to it's reliability and warranty. And Walbro was not perfected yet.

No, I don't have any single daughters. They are all married.

Take time to fill out your signature so we can tell what you are driving and what you have done to it.

Think you answered your own question. But when was the last time you changed your fuel filter?? A plugged filter can cause fuel pressure to drop, but I'm guessing its you LP

LP pump is dead...or dieing... Suggested book minimum pressure is 10 PSI... (Yes I know that DC switch to volume testing)...

You can't have volume without pressure...

I was afraid of that. The wife is not going to like it but I don't think there is musch choice. Any thoughts on where I can get a good FASS II? I have been lurking on the forum for a while and have learned a great deal. Now it time to get hands on.

Gieco... I appreciate the offer and will certainly take you up on it. I am in Bellevue.. you?

I would just go with the Fass II 95. It has MORE than enough PSI & volume for HP up to 500 and more. I'll PM my address to you.
