Fuel Pressure Drop

OK, some time between yesterday and today, my fuel pressure at idle went from 15 psi to 13 psi and from 8 psi to 5 psi at WOT. The lift pump was replaced a week ago, along with the fuel filter. I checked for leaks and everything looked good. Is it just time to suck it up and get a high flow kit from Rod? Any ideas guys??

Awww crap, I wasn't even paying attention to where I posted this, haha. I'll be expecting the move shortly!!

P.S. It didn't throw any codes either.

Hey,

Did you fill up where you normally do?

Sounds like you may have gotten a bad load of fuel. Check your Fuel Filter. www.Genosgarage.com will have cheap filters.

If not, then, you might have gotten a bad pump . It's been known to happen.

My replacement was spitting out 13 at idle and 6 at WOT straight from the shelf. I had a holley black on mine less than a week later.

Haven't fueled up in over 2 weeks, still the same fuel as it was when I was gettin 15. I'll call up the dealer and see what they have to say about the bad pump situation. Thanks guys.

Make sure the wire connection terminals at the plug are clean and give'em a little dab of dielectric grease to prevent future corrosion.

Agree with Shovelhead. Check your connections! Shouldn't need Max Fuel Flow System at your HP but it is a GREAT addition! Rod's Mod solved all my pressure problems: was considering a FASS but not anymore. Can't pull below 9-10 psi no matter what I do.
