Fuel line leaking
Fuel line leaking
How do you get this fuel line to not break?

It runs between a banjo fitting (broken off) on the side of the VP44 and an elbow back alongside the motor. It was leaking when the pump went out a short while ago, started leaking again so we got a new one. When I took the bolt out of the banjo fitting, it snapped back a little bit, wasn't lined up properly. When we put the new one on, I bent the line til I could stick the banjo bolt in, spin it, and it screwed right in. It ran a few days and when it went in for tires yesterday, when it was picked up there was a note on the seat about it leaking fuel (again).
Any chance at all it could be replaced with a hydraulic hose?

Sounds like it isn't shaped correctly.
Do you have access to a tubing bender?
I believe the aftermarket fuel line upgrades are fuel rated rubber with nylon weave reinforcement.
Others while post up...

This is only the second time it's broke, I was mistaken, the first time it was the line behind it. Is there supposed to be a support of any sort on it? The dealer had to have it off to do the pump.
I did take some of the bend out of the one right under the pump. We started the line in back, and the banjo bolt spun right into the hole, snugged it down before tightening the rear fitting. It was probably half a hole or more off when we slid it in the first time.
