i just installed my fass system didnt have time to get rid of the factory stuff yet was wondering about the wires that go to the filter houseing (i take it thats for the fuel heater and water in fuel light) if i just unhook the wires will it make codes or just un hook and remove the factory trash

 

I checked the DTC list in my factory service manual and saw no DTC's for open water in fuel or fuel heater circuits so I'm guessing it'll be ok although with big fittings, keeping it will be additional insurance against water in fuel w/fuel heating capability with no loss in flow capacity.
