fuel filter changge

I was going to change my fuel filter But don't know the procedure.Any help appreciated.

Dead easy to change the fuel filter. Make sure you fill the canister with fresh diesel and bump the starter before starting.

takes about 20-30 minutes to change out the filter. i think i used 2cycle outboard motor oil to fill up the canister before i installed it. seemed to work good.

Watch the driveway...

Just make sure you have a catch bottle under the drain hose. A few ounces of spilled diesel fuel will eat its way thru your asphalt driveway and halfway to China.

I always fill mine with Lucas UCL when I change it. Supposedly cleans the injectors out a little better. Takes about 30 minutes. Only reason it takes so long is getting the Lucas into to saturate the new filter. Unfortunate for you and me we got the model that has the pain filter repalcement.
