Fuel Filter change, how often??

If I remember right, the book says change the fuel filter every 15,000 miles. I change mine every 10,000 and use Napa filter. Don't seem to be having any trouble but would like to hear the thoughts of others that have been around deisels longer than I have. Thanks,

i burn a lot of fuel and miles and change mine about every 15k to 20k so you can change yours sooner but in my opinion youre just spending your money

As long as I buy the majority of my fuel from the same place here locally, I change every year or about 25000 miles. Nothing in the housing to date and no problems.

I change mine every other oil change, that would be every 10K. Some like to use a temporary gauge to test pre and post filter every so often and only change the filter when it needs to be. Just athought.

Glenn

I change mine every other oil change as well.

I change my oil every 3000 - 3500 miles...

might be overkill, but filters are cheap... ;D
