fuel filter change
There are probably a dozen different ways to do this. When you bump the starter, the LP only runs for about 25 seconds, so I did that several times. You can also depress the schrader on the vp while the LP is running to release any air (helpful to have something to catch the fuel in). Then you should be ready to crank. You may have it start and run for a few seconds, then quit. Just try again and crank for up to 30 seconds. Worst case, you may have to just barely crack open one of the injector lines to let the air out. Tighten it back up as soon as it starts. Good luck!
Like RD says. pulling the old filter lets the dirty side fuel mix w/ the cleaned fuel in the filter housing. I suck this out w/ a turkey baster and replace w/ fresh fuel (about 2/3 full) and drop in the filter and seal it up. It starts right up after one starter bump.

thanks for the info. this is what i have always done and have had no problems. just want to make sure i was doing it right. didnt know if you opened the canster if any air need to be gotten out before you started it up. so if it starts right up then there is no problem?
