Fuel Filter

Hey yall,
I recently got my LP and VP replaced under warrenty. I am coming up on the 5000 mile mark to change my oil. (fuel fliter, oil, oil filter changed in early June). I know the rule of thumb is to change the fuel filter every OTHER oil change, but due to the fact of a new VP44, I feel quite concerned about the fuel fliter. Since I had the VP replaced, should I be changing the fuel filter each oil change or just continue with every othe oil change?

Thanks, fellas

I notice in your sig that you don't have any guages listed. Get guages at the very least minimum get a fuel pressure guage. This might save your VP44 next time. Nobody likes to spend money if we don't have to.

singleturnout: Thanks, hoss. That was my gut instinct as well. Thanks for the help. By the way how's that pretty dually treating ya?

scottsjeeprolet: You are absoultely right about that. As a matter of fact, I got all four Auto Meter gauges in my garage. I waiting to hook up with a couple fellow diesel heads that are gonna help me install them (possibly this weekend).
