front tires wore out
front tires wore out
99 Dodge dulley Have had two sets of front tires only have 17K miles on them,(both sets) but the outside of them are wore out, but the inside and middle look brand new. Ran 60lb of air in front ball joints are tight, tow-in is set correctly, have checked twice, allienment has been checked twice, tie rods are tight, so can anyone help me with my problem?
Thanks
Thanks
Are you using D or E load rated tires?
I've had Ds wear very badly on the edges due to the weaker sidewalls "rolling-over" (flexing) on turns.
Even when run over recommended Air Pressures, the structure of the tires couldn't support the weight of the Cummins, (and my agressive exit ramp speeds)

Duallys corner like 7,000 pound Porsches.
I'm running Es now and still seeing some wear on the outside edges.
But these are Cooper SRM II tires that are 2 1/2 years old.
They seem to wear much better than the D rated Cavalier brand junk I put on last time.
