front end problem
i replaced all my tire rod ends.one was wore out,so i replace everyone.but it still road walks bad side to side.do i need to replace tracking bar or maybe control arm? Im just tired of it.Need help to fix my no problem.Thank you
I just replaced everything on my 02 and after counting the threads and measuring twice I still had to get it aligned. I also have a DSS mounted so it helps. If you have the money replace everything and have it alignment done. Rule out all possibilities.
Any loose joints need to be replaced before alignment. Check all closely while someone pulls the steering wheel back and forth 1/4 turn, easiest way to find out if the track bar is shot. You may also see the sector shaft on steering box (pitman arm) moving around a bit. DSS or similar steering brace stops that as said above.
Then have it toed in 1/8" inch.

In my readings and experience, trac bar tends to go first, which results in ball joints and tie rod ends slacking out.
Steering box can also be affected, but usually the parts closest to the wheels go bad first.
Check end bushing at axle as mentioned above regarding trac bar...
