Friday the 13th dajavo
Last Friday the 13th my VP died. After having the truck plugged in for 4 hours, this morning (Friday the 13th) it started then died, started then died, I added some throttle and started then it continued to run normally. It was -10° and the wait to start light didn't come on. I hope this isn't an indication the pump is going bad. It's only been on there a week.

My personal record, 4 days/812km on a vp44. All new pump guts, but they used the old cpu. The company i bought it from admitted as much when i sent it back. They tested it on the bench, no go, added a new module, worked great.
I have bought a lot of pumps from that company, and that is the only one i ever had a problem with. It was on my own truck, not a customer unit, so not as bad. Made them more careful though.

The installer is a Bosch Authorized dealer and the pump came from an authorized overhauler, OFI. So far, no more problems. I know on my 1st gen, a little throttle when it's really cold is called out for in the operators manual.
