On an 01 can I change the shcrader valve out for a tapped banjo bolt? I have an extra banjo bolt laying around. So that I can finish the install

 

I did on my 99. There both VP44 trucks. I think you can without a problem. I would try it anyways it should thread right in.

 

Absolutely, Thats how I did mine. It works great. Found a kit with all the parts included on ebay. Try to get a ball valve as well in case you need to shut off fuel supply to the gauge. It also works as a snubber to eliminate pulsation at the gauge. Lasts longer that way>

 

I have a 2001 that I want to install a FP gauge in. Can one of you send me pics or direct me on how this is done or how it looks? It's my next upgrade and I just ahppen to catch this thread. Your help is appreciated. I'm a novice at diesels btu I'm willing to do it myself with the right info and pics. Thanks
