I have recently found a new fluid leak under my truck. The color is almost clear, and from looking at the splatter pattern on the driveway it looks like it may be fuel as opposed to oil or tranny fluid. I looked under the truck after driving for a while and could see it dripping. It is coming from the back of the motor by the half-moon shaped inspection plate. Just wondering if it sounds like a fuel leak and where I might start looking for the source.

 

Have you checked your fuel lines that run from, and back to the tank? I think there is some rubber sections there that have been known to crack and leak. Also, a leak around the lift pump pump might cause a leak in that area.
