FLat spot on acceleration
FLat spot on acceleration
So lately on hard accceleration around 2000 rpm I hit a flat spot. It always happens on U-turns when the wheels are cranked and there's a little more resistance than just a straight take off. My fuel pressure drops a little when I hit that spot but comes right back after half a second. I've changed the fuel filter thinking that was my problem but got nothin out of it. I have a buddy at a service shop that checked out my fuel system to see if there was anything wrong at all and he couldn't find anything.
Other than that flat spot the truck is running great and I haven't noticed any changes in performance, anyone have a clue where I could look next?

My '99 has a continuos mid range flat spot that I attribute to a low volt reading from the MAP sensor... check engine light on, got low voltage/low boost codes. Other than that, it runs OK.
