Question finally tested it for leaks

I love this truck never had any problems with it but I finally tested it for air leaks, I think it had about 5 of them I fixed 4 of them but one minor one is in a spot that I really don't know what to do with it I have taken a picture of it and tryed to highlight it. The picture should be in my gallery I think if I did that right If not tell me and I will try again. Thanks in advance for info on this.

I filled it with rtv red sealant on the out side and that worked so far I do't even want to try to weld it so I hope it works

Leak tester

Tell me more about the leak tester you made up. it looks pretty coo.
Pull out the RTV and fix the hole with JB weld, it will be as good as new.

Leak tester

The leak tester is just a peice of 4" pvc pipe with an end cap glued on it then I drilled and taped the end for a 1/4 npt male air coupler with an old air compresser pressure gauge screwed in on the other side. It just slides in and clamps down in the intake tube it will take about 20 psi before the intake tube wants to come off of the turbo but it will find leaks no problem. Good luck with it, the jb weld is a good idea I will try when I get some of it.

I, too, am suspecting a leak. Are the leaks easy to track down; do you hear them easily???
