Got a code 0230 Fuel pump primary circut, What does this mean and how do I correct it?, I checked and changed out fuses and still no pump sounds. any other ideas would be greatly accepted, Rich told me about a fuel relay under the hood how can I check it, Dealer here is hard to deal with, 2002 2500 4x4 auto, thanks, James

 

The ECM monitors how much current the lift pump draws. If the lift pump becomes disconnected from a bad connection or worn out brushes, the P0230 code is set. Check the wiring and connector first but be prepared to replace the lift pump.
