So a buddy of mine is going to bring his truck over for me to look at, and he says it runs away on him frequently. He has changed the APPS and had it at the dealer for some time now with no answer to what is going on. He says it will rev up on its own or as he is driving just take off on its own, he also says it seems to happen after the truck is fully warmed up. It is a 01 6 speed with an edge attitude. I think from what he is telling me its a ecm issue, I did have other truck that seemed to do this but not as bad as his. Anyway any thought or comments to what may be going on would be great.
