When I start my truck it will surge as if I slapped the accelerator and immediately released it. Sometimes it will do it twice, then it runs normally. It does not do this every time, but usually will if it has set a while. It is surging about 200 to 300 RPM and back down instantly.



Does anyone know what would cause this?

check your fuel supply from tank to injector... you might have an injector that is leaking... do you have an smoke or haze at idle?

 

I have no smoke or haze at idle. I have checked the fuel for air bubbles and it is clear, no air bubbles in fuel.

It might be your apps or your vp44 check for codes?

 

It is not setting any codes.
