Went to back the truck in the driveway. Engine died. It started right back up and ran fine. Check eng light was on, and TST PM3 had all the lights flashing along with the number '8'. Unable to check for codes at home. FP is 14 at idle, 10 WOT. 1/2 tank of fuel. No symptoms before. Any ideas what is up?

 

Solder your hot wire. Mine did the same thing everytime I hit a bump it would go off and then blink 8

 

All connections are soldered.

 

You've got a loose hot wire somewhere. Do you think you may have a cold soldered joint? The losing power and blinking has to be a hot wire. I would go over every connection if that doesn't get it I would send it back and have them check the box itself.
