I am wondering what the various oil pressures are on the CTD's. When I start my engine, the oil pressure takes three to four seconds to build and then it quickly jumps up to about 40 PSI. When running above idle the pressure is up around 65 PSI and then drops back to about 40 at idle. The thing that scares me is the three to four second lag to build pressure upon fireup. A lag in pressure buildup from my experience usually indicates worn bearings etc. I may try to find a spot to connect a mechanical gauge that I have to see if the lag in pressure is showing accurately on the dash guage. Any suggestions?

 

It takes a few seconds to get the Computer up to speed processing the data from the senders.<br>The oil pressure is there, the guage just suffers from &quot;Jet Lag&quot;.
