Never hear anyone talk about Texaco's 15-40 Super Ursa. Any paticular raeson why?

 

One thing its not as easy to find as the rest. I'm familar with it from work, but don't know about how it would be for our trucks. The oils most people use can be found at most truck stops and K mart or Walmart &amp; Sams or Costco, ETC.<br> I've only seen the Ursa in 55 gal drums myself.

 

Hi,<br><br>I recently went to the local International truck place to buy some parts for my old F250 turbocharged 6.9 diesel. Whilst there I noticed that they had a special on the Texaco oil. I asked about it and they said they were using it on all their work unless other oil brands were specially requested. This oil meets or exceed all the major diesel makers requirements - including Cummins. I ended up buying three jugs to try it in my new 2002 truck ( in my F250 I have used Petrocanada Duron 15W40 for years). Price was pretty good too.<br><br>I suspect it will be more than adequate for the purpose intended - hope I am right.<br><br>Mariner
