My engine sounds like its roaring when going down the road at any speed, rpms dont move just hear the roaring sound. I also have dead petal sometimes and just had the lift pump replaced because of a 0216 code, after it was replaced it still makes the roaring sound but only a 0500 and 1693 code come up. Is my VP44 dead? And is that what is making the noise?

Just checked my codes again and get 0500 and 1693 and still get 0216 and 1693

 

Were the original codes reset when the LP went in??
