Engine miss
Engine miss
Hey guys,
A few weeks ago I began to notice a miss in my engine during slight acceleration. The miss seemed to be magnified by hard acceleration.
The problem has intensified over the past few weeks. It has gotten to the point where I feel the miss while traveling at constant 70 mph. No codes. fuel pressure post filter is constant 16 psi (raptor fuel pump).
210k miles, 100 hp injectors put in at 100k, rebuilt vp44 at 150k, timing adjusted at 100k, new fuel filter.
I haven't checked the big line kit to see if it is sucking air, whats an easy way to check this? If I had air in the lines wouldn't I see the gauge drop?
What sensors should I check?
For the past two years, the truck has had a slight jump or miss at idle when warmed up.
Any Suggestions? Thanks a lot for any answers.

thanks for the reply dozer, do you know the best way to test these injector's? I never tested them when I put them in the truck. Do they have to be removed to test? I recall the term "pop test" being thrown around but never quite understood how it was done and who was able to do it.
I should also add that only the nozzles were replaced. The rest of the injector is stock.
Thanks again
