Hey dose anyone know where I can get a new EGT probe. A buddy of mine has a post turbo EGT probe but we want to move it to the manifold. The problem is where the probe now is installed in the down pipe it isn't threaded but held in by basicly by a "hose clamp" sort of fixture. So dose anyone know where we could buy a prob that is threaded then attach it to the wires already there. I know we can buy a complet wiring kit from the probe back to the gauges. I just havnt seen if they make it. If anyone has an idea let me know.

 

Call Geno's. They sell probes and may sell the fitting that the probe mounts in. It is a 1/8th NPT that has a compression type fitting. Might be able to find something at the hardware store. If you are going to move the probe you need to plug the old hole. If it is not threaded you can just tap it and put in a plug.
