Edge EZ Question

I have a 98.5 CTD pure stock w/260K. A buddy of mine has a edge ez that he said he would give me for it. Should I do it or just keep on keeping it like its been? I dont want to give it a death sentence.

Oh yeah noo-b to post here, been lerking for a long time just dont have much to say.

Might as well take it, it shouldn't hurt anything. Allthough should add gauges to be safe. Also once you add the ez you'll probably be like the rest of us and keep wanting more mods.

The EZ is the best thing for your stock truck it wont over stress things too much. You will definately be surprised by how much "lighter" your truck feels. its a nice kick in the pants. I installed one on my truck back when it only had 325,000kms on it, and everything held together fine, I would not worry too much about the mileage you have, if everything is still stock, its likely well past due to fail anyway, 260,000 on a stock VP seems almost unbelieveable! surely thats not the orginal?

But your still gonna need a fuel pressure gauge! (if you dont have already)
