DTT Transmission problem / where to get work done
DTT Transmission problem / where to get work done
You can see my mods in my signature below. but here is my problem. and this just happened i didn't pull anything heavy or put stress on it or anything. for one it is SUPER sluggish starting off it goes almost all the way to 1700 rpm before it even starts moving. then the infamous kick that it used to give me from the shift to second is gone it almost seems like it never shifts. at 65 mph it stays at 2600 rpm the whole time and switching on or off overdrive seems to make no difference. is it as simple as a fuse? or what else could it be? and my next question is id like to take it someplace but i don't know where i should take it and who can work on a dtt. i am in buford ga 30518 if anyone knows of someone close.
Call DTT. It sounds like the trans is in limp home mode. 2nd gear starts and won't up shift.
Don't drive it until it is figured out.
You don't have your profile filled out, so we can't help with WHERE do I get it fixed.
Where are you?

It is probably either the govenor pressure solenoid, or the governor pressure transducer. Both are know problems, and are not in anyway a fault of DTT. Give DTT a call, and they can tell you exactly what to do. It is really pretty simple to fix.
