Drove to WY - now have CEL - codes listed
PCU codes:
P 0500 - Vehicle Speed Sensor circuit 1 or no vehicle speed signal (this one has me confused)
P 0462 - fuel level low - My gauge stopped reading the other day and i now have a low fuel light even after topping up the tank. I wondered if it had something to do with the fact it's been COLD in Colorado and the entire truck was encased in ice :s It had read full a couple of times before when the truck was about half full and then decided to quit altogether.
P 1693 - generic fault
ECU codes:
p 0122 - low APPS voltage - input voltage
p 1693 - generic
I couldn't get any "soft" codes cycling the key with the trip reset button depressed.
I have the week to work on the truck and will probably chase down a good multimeter my first trip to NAPA. Procedures for finding the sources of these issues? How about a PDF version of the FSM? I don't have a CD drive on my computer, so it's gotta be downloadable... the Haynes is all cluttered-up with gas-engine and 1500 information...
Thanks folks,
Charlie

Additional details: I stopped in Cheyenne and replaced the Fuel and air filters. Topped up low oil and low coolant in Casper - AFTER the CEL activated.
Got about 16mpg all the way up here completely unloaded

sorry i can't really help with the codes other than to look them up as you did/could... but i can say if you're passing through gillete don't bother to stop at the cummins repair shop, because their labor is horribly overpriced, and they charge 110 and hour for diagnosis.
