Draining a NV5600

Use the lowest hole on the PTO cover. The NV5600 doesn't have a conventional drain plug like you would normally look for.
If you want to go the extra step, pull the PTO cover completely and clean off the magnet inside. You will be suprised what is on it.

I thought some had boss' for drain plugs but they werent drilled and tapped.................... been a long time since i looked though.

No drainplug on any NV5600 I've ever seen.
If you want to do a -really- good job, take both PTO covers off, both sides. Pull the magnet out from the driver's side PTO hatch, and clean it off. (Can't get in there from the other side because of the gears and rails.) Then take a rag or paper towel and "push" out the remaining fluid in the bottom - there will be about a quart, a dirty quart, that won't drain.
